Bring your imagination to life! Learn to code robots and electronic gadgets using MicroBlocks, a fun, visual programming language. No experience needed! (Ages10+)

In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover the amazing world of physical computing with MicroBlocks.

This easy-to-learn, visual programming language lets you bring your creations to life – think robots that move, lights that flash, and games you can control!

Imagine building projects that combine the real world with the digital world:

  • Program robots to navigate mazes.
  • Create interactive games with lights and sounds.
  • Control your creations remotely with Bluetooth.
  • And even connect your projects to the internet!

This workshop is perfect for curious minds aged 10 and above, regardless of prior coding experience.

Kathy Giori
fills her desk with hardware that can be programmed using MicroBlocks, and enjoys teaching workshops. She has worked in Silicon Valley her whole career. At MicroBlocks, she directs global partnerships and outreach, and is a member of the Project Leadership Committee. She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (EE) from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. in EE from Stanford.
