Lend a helping hand at the Library! Volunteer to help out at the Puzzle Swap.
Middle and high school students who need to earn community service credit for school or who want to volunteer at the Library for a fun experience can sign up to be a "helping hand"!
The first step - if you have not yet done so - is to complete the Teen Volunteer Application.
This shift is to help run our Puzzle Swap event, an opportunity for people in the community to donate their gently-used jigsaw puzzles and take another in exchange. This event is held every other month on a Saturday and will be in the gallery in front of Corner Books or on the patio (weather permitting).
Teen volunteers help set up tables, display puzzles, greet people, and clean up afterwards. You will work with the teen librarian and an adult volunteer from Corner Books will be onsite as well.
If you are not available for the entire three hours, you may work part of the shift. When you sign up, indicate your availability.
Two teen volunteers are needed for each date.
The Library is a vibrant community hub that offers a wide range of resources, programs, and services for people of all ages.
Whether you're looking for books, movies, computers, or a quiet place to study, we have something for you.
Our dedicated staff is always here to help you find what you need.
