Hear from three local (Belvedere, Tiburon, and Strawberry) authors as they share their work, discuss the writing process, and field questions.
Join us for an engaging evening celebrating local literary talent!
This month's Local Authors Night features three authors from the Belvedere, Tiburon, and Strawberry communities.
They will share short readings from their work, dive into a panel discussion about their writing process, and answer your burning questions during an audience Q&A:
Dr. Ellen Killebrew is a pioneering cardiologist whose 50-year career at Kaiser Richmond and Oakland helped shape modern medicine and expand opportunities for women in the field. Inspired at age 13 by her family doctor’s “magic bag,” she resolved to bring healing and relief to others.
Ted McDonnell is an award-winning photographer known for his Pure Photography—capturing authentic, unedited moments that convey truth and emotion. His work spans photojournalism, wildlife, lifestyle, and travel, and has appeared in National Geographic, The New York Post, Associated Press, Cambridge University, and AccuWeather.
Claire Blotter has published three chapbooks and a full-length poetry collection, EXPANDING.WATER.WAYS., that she’s been reading and performing along U.S. wetlands threatened by a 2023 Supreme Court decision. Her work has been published in Rattle, Spillway, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Plant-Human Quarterly and California Fire & Water: A Climate Crisis Anthology, among other magazines and anthologies.
