MakerspaceJoin our Sewing Bee! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting, bring your current project or follow along with our seasonal craft. This month, we're making: pillowcases!
Whether you're a sewing newbie or a seasoned pro, we'll be there to help you plan, cut and sew everything you can imagine! There's also a monthly project to follow along.
What You'll Learn:
- Sewing Machine Basics: Threading, stitch length adjustment, speed control, and troubleshooting.
- Fabric Cutting Tips: Safe and efficient techniques for measuring, marking, and cutting.
- Seaming Skills: Mastering straight seams for a polished finish.
- Finishing Touches: Cutting threads and hemming edges of your project.
No sewing machine experience is required – we'll provide everything you need. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
