Founders Room. In this workshop for parents and caregivers, ScreenSense, in partnership with the RUSD PTA, addresses use of smartphones for children TK - 4th.

ScreenSense, in partnership with the RUSD PTA, presents an evening of education for parents around child use of smartphones and social media. 

5:00PM - 6:15 PM: (TK - 4TH GRADE PARENTS) TAKING PHONES SLOWLY. TOGETHER. 

For parents and caregivers of children in TK-Grade 4. Research shows that excess smartphone use can impact kids’ development and wellbeing. But as parents, there comes a time when we want to be able to communicate with our kids, and then our kids want to be able to contact their friends. How do we meet those growing needs while avoiding unnecessary risks and harms so our kids are safe and healthy?
