Handmade Book Arts Workshop

Learn bookbinding techniques with a local multimedia artist and create a beautiful handmade journal using art papers and upcycled materials.

Adults and teens age 14 & older are invited to join multi-talented local artist Annelies Atchley to learn techniques - paper folding, gluing, and sewing - to make beautiful and unique handmade blank books using upcycled cork and grass textured covers, maps, and fine art papers.

Your finished blank book is a perfect journal for sketching or writing and a great treasure to keep or give as a gift.

As a Tiburon resident since 1961, Annelies is known for her expertise in book arts, basket weaving, sewing, woodworking, beading, jewelry making, and more! Annelies brings skill, kindness, patience, and joy to her teaching. Do not miss this opportunity to learn a fun handicraft from this gifted and accomplished artist.

Sign up now; seats are limited. Participants will enjoy a one-on-one experience in a casual workshop setting. All materials are provided and are upcycled or re-used whenever possible in an effort to support sustainability and resource-sharing.
