Earn community service credit at the Library!

Teen volunteers are wanted to help spruce up the teen patio and garden. Tasks may include pulling weeds, sweeping and raking debris, trimming and watering plants, filling the compost bin, breaking down cardboard, and filling seed packets. 

Wear casual clothes that can get a little dirty. Aprons and gloves are available. There may be bees and allergens, so protect yourself as needed.

Bring your water bottle and wear sunscreen. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

This session is scheduled for 10 am - 12 pm to avoid the afternoon heat, but if you would prefer to work at a later time that day, email rjung@beltiblibrary or call 415.789.2663 to speak with Teen Services Librarian Rebecca Jung.
