Jon Haveman, Ph.D., is Executive Director of the National Economic Education Delegation (NEED) and a principal at Marin Economic Consulting, an economic research and consulting firm specializing in entrepreneurship and local economic development. An expert on regional economies and local economic development, Dr. Haveman is particularly well known for his work on the Bay Area economy. He is also widely recognized as one of California's leading experts on the economics of seaports, goods movement, and international trade policy.
