Before beginning your next renovation project, learn from deconstruction and reuse experts about the environmental benefits of salvaging and reusing building materials.

When remodeling or renovating a home, demolition isn’t the only option. Deconstruction carefully dismantles a building so that materials and fixtures can be salvaged, reused, or donated rather than sent to the landfill.

Join Chuck Hornbrook of Zero Waste Marin, Nicole Tai, co-founder of GreenLynx, and Phoebe Schenker, executive director of the Reuse Alliance, to learn how the process of deconstruction works for remodels and full building removal. You'll also learn about the environmental benefits of reuse, including reducing landfill waste and greenhouse gas emissions.
