Wednesday, September 30
6:00pm - 7:00pm

Hear stories from people impacted by incarceration and learn how storytelling can challenge stereotypes, build compassion, and connect us to our shared humanity.

Join Diane Kahn, Executive Director of Humans of San Quentin, along with a formerly incarcerated contributor and local teen interns with the organization, for a conversation about the power of storytelling to challenge stereotypes, foster empathy, and create connection. Hear firsthand stories and learn how sharing personal experiences can give voice to people whose perspectives are often overlooked.

About Humans of San Quentin
Humans of San Quentin is a humanitarian nonprofit sharing the lives of people inside prison with the outside world through first-person stories, art, poetry, and interviews. Founded inside San Quentin in 2017, the organization collects stories from incarcerated people to build connections, give voice to the unheard, and foster compassion and understanding.
