Join Suzanne Bontempo from Our Water Our World for a practical fall gardening program that shows how to set up your garden for spring success while supporting the ecosystem through winter.

Topics include:

  • how to protect overwintering pollinators and beneficial insects

  • smart pruning techniques for healthier plants

  • why fall is the ideal time to plant

  • tips for preventing a few seasonal pest problems many of us face during the winter months

Suzanne Bontempo works as an environmental educator, teaching the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for sustainable, eco-friendly pest management around the home and garden.

Owner of Plant Harmony and the IPM Advocate Program Coordinator for Our Water Our World, she has received several awards recognizing her excellence in the field.

Suzanne has worked as a professional gardener for 30 years, is a Qualified IPM Advocate, a ReScape California Qualified Landscaper, QWEL certified, a Master Composter, a Xerces Ambassador and loves teaching folks how to grow bountiful gardens that are also safe and healthy for you, your family and the environment.
