Join Tiburon author and historian James Ellman for a provocative new look at General Patton that challenges the myth of Patton and reveals the man —and the general — behind the legend.

James Ellman's new book, Patton Reconsidered: General George S. Patton Jr. as a Wartime Commander, challenges the long-standing view of Patton as a military genius and examines his battlefield record, leadership, and controversial conduct during World War II.

Patton Reconsidered questions why Patton continues to be held up as a model of military leadership while his failures on the battlefield and manifest criminal actions are downplayed or ignored.

Evening Program:

  • 5:30 pm - Wine & Cheese Reception
  • 6:00 pm - Author Talk, followed by a book signing

Books will be available for purchase.

James Ellman is an investor, historian and author of several history books including, Patton Reconsidered, Seeds of Victory, MacArthur Reconsidered, and Hitler's Great Gamble.
