Lauren Ryan will review an exploration of Marin artists from the 1940s through the 1970s from the inaugural exhibit at Anthony Meier, a fine arts gallery in Mill Valley.
Then she’ll discuss contemporary Marin artists by focusing on a handful of works from our current exhibition By 94920: Celebrating Creativity: a competitive blind-juried group show for resident artists.
Trained as an art historian, Lauren Ryan has twenty-five years of professional experience curating and advising collections of post-war and contemporary art.
As a current Partner at Anthony Meier, Lauren helps guide the strategic vision, including artist management, exhibitions, and programming.
Known for her deep passion for supporting the arts, she also serves on the Headlands Center for the Arts board of directors.
