Do you love books and enjoy working with kids? Do you want to earn community service credit? Join Reading Buddies and make reading fun!
Middle and high school students are invited to sign up to be a Reading Buddy this summer.
You will be paired with elementary school students who will read to you and practice their literacy skills followed by fun word games and snacks.
There will be six opportunities this summer on Wednesdays, June 18 and 25, July 9, 16, 23, and 30; you can volunteer for one hour per day (two half-hour reading sessions).
If you have schedule conflicts due to summer school, travel, camp, etc. but wish to participate, please contact teens@beltiblibrary.org to discuss options.
