StoryWalk®
Hiking Day by Anne Rockwell
Thursday, July 24
9:00am - 5:00pm
Going on a hike for the first time is an adventure! Visit the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary to enjoy the views and stroll the grounds as you read this classic book.
Look for the signs to the StoryWalk® from the main gate. The walk is less than a quarter mile. Enjoy views of nature and the Bay along the way. Scan the QR code at the end of the walk for a secret password to redeem a prize at the library!
Visitors can also wander around the Center, observe the shorebirds and other wildlife, and hike the half-mile oak woodlands trail. Please leave no trace and pack out anything you pack in. Because the site is a wildlife sanctuary, pets are not allowed.
The StoryWalk® will be open Monday - Friday from July 22 - 31 from 9 am to 5 pm. The Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary is closed on the weekends.
