College admissions practice tests for high school students year-round. Select between the ACT or SAT practice test, or try both at no cost. Register for multiple sessions now to reserve your spot!

The Library is offering free ACT and SAT practice tests for high school students throughout the 2025-26 school year proctored by Adam Piacente of Marin SAT Prep.

You can sign up for one or several Saturday morning sessions when you register.

IMPORTANT: Please note which test(s) you are signing up for. The registration form will only list the date, not the test name.

SAT - January 17, 2026

SAT - February 28, 2026

ACT - March 28, 2026

SAT - May 23, 2026

Sessions include administration and grading of the paper-based version of the official practice test (multiple choice only – no essay).

  • Test starts promptly at 10:30 AM; students will finish by 1:30 PM.
  • Students should bring No.2 pencils and a calculator (both will be available at the library but there may not be enough to go around).
  • Students may bring snacks and bottled drinks.
  • Tests will be graded during the session.
  • The test is FREE but space is limited. To reserve your spot, register now.
  • If you sign up but change your plans, please use the link in your confirmation email to cancel your registration and allow waitlisted students to participate.
