Keep driving for as long as you can safely do so and learn about auto insurance policies in this California Highway Patrol class at the library.

The California Highway Patrol understands that driving is important to your independence and mobility, and wants to provide guidance to help you drive longer and more safely.

Accomplish that goal by reinforcing good driving habits and updating your knowledge about traffic safety laws and rules of the road.

This presentation by CHP Instructor Arthur Tellez is designed to help senior drivers:

  • Tune up driving skills
  • Refresh knowledge of the rules of the road
  • Learn about normal, age-related physical changes that may impact driving ability

The Age Well Drive Smart program was developed by the The Training Research and Education for Driving Safety (TREDS) program at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
