Community Service for Teens
Opportunities for Teen Volunteers
Tuesday, May 18
4:00pm - 6:00pm
Lend a helping hand at the Library!
High school students (age 13-18) who need to earn community service credit for school or who want to volunteer for a fun experience can sign up to be a "helping hand"!
The first step is to complete the Teen Volunteer Application.
Next, sign up for the dates you can attend. If your plans change, make sure to cancel your registration or contact the Teen Librarian. If you cannot attend on Tuesdays, contact the Teen Librarian at teens@beltiblibrary.org to discuss your availability.
Volunteer shifts are on Tuesdays 4-6 pm; you can volunteer for part or all of that time and it's okay if you arrive after 4 pm (the bus usually arrives a little past 4).
Community service sessions go through May and are cancelled for school breaks and holidays.
Please bring your school's community service form if you have one. You are responsible for tracking your time, so make note of the days and hours you work.
Tasks will be assigned when you check in at the Teen Room.
Snacks and drinks will be available; you may want to bring a water bottle.
