Get hands-on and bring your curiosity to life with sketches, notes, and observations celebrating nature's wonders. Belvedere Tiburon Library - Founders Room

Wednesday, August 19
11:00am - 12:00pm

Deepen your connection to nature with fun, simple nature journaling methods. Get hands-on and bring your curiosity to life with sketches, notes, and observations celebrating nature's wonders.

Relax, refresh, and renew with the practice of Nature Journaling! This fun and accessible activity opens the door to wonder and curiosity, and creates a deeply profound connection to nature.

You'll learn basic nature journaling methods with guided activities that use words, pictures, and numbers to ask questions, to track data, and to explore form through drawing and sketching. We'll discuss how to apply these skills in a field setting, and wrap with time for sharing, Q&A, and discussion of next steps in developing a nature journaling practice.

ALL ages welcome, no prior experience necessary.

Bring your favorite pen, pencil, and paper. We'll have some available at the event, too.

:: Supplies ::

  • paper, journal, or sketchbook
  • curiosity
  • open mind, ready to explore and experiment!
